Fota Side Chair in Navy
Fota Side Chair in Navy
In 1871, William Morris set out on an expedition across Iceland, where he was captivated by its sprawling landscapes and functional designs. Morris & Co. has created a collection of patterns inspired by William Morris' Nordic travels, including Fota, a small scale geometric weave. Reimagined for a collection of bistro chairs, this collection features Fota as a monochromatic dyed natural rattan peel weave. Intended for indoor use only. Please rehydrate your chair upon receipt, prior to use, by thoroughly spraying the both sides of the weaving with a soap flake and water solution with a clean spray bottle. Let air dry prior to use. To keep your natural woven furniture hydrated and to avoid breakage due to brittle material, you will need to spray the weaving with a soap flake solution 10-12 times a year.
